Cashmere Scarves

Let's start with a classic. An easy addition to any outfit, we will be sorry to say goodbye to our knitted scarves as spring comes round. This year it seems to be the bigger, the better as oversized scarves were named the ultimate accessory of Autumn/Winter 2021 and we hopped on the trend! Sometimes it can be overwhelming to pick accessories with all of the options out there - so we would recommend sticking to one big statement piece, like the oversized scarf.

Beanie Hats

Everyone needs a beanie… they say you lose half of your body heat through your head, so what better way to prevent this than with a luxurious cashmere piece from Nearly New Cashmere Co.? We cut the best bits of cashmere out of unusable jumpers to make these beanies. We also have a small range of brand new hats that have been made from recycled yarn in a mill in Scotland.

Belts

In our eyes, you can never go wrong with a statement belt to brighten up your outfit. Incorporating prints and bright colours into your style can be a tricky balancing act, but when they are smaller items they are easier to wear and do not overpower the rest of the outfit. We have a range of fantastic statement belts, some in bold colours to add a pop of colour, and some animal print if you like patterned accessories!

Elbow Patches & Appliqués

Elbow patches and appliqués are essential for reviving that old cashmere jumper you’re refusing to throw away. At Nearly New Cashmere we make our patches out of old jumpers that haven’t met our high standards. Not only are they useful for repairs they also often have a traditional look to them.

Vintage Silk Scarves

A real favourite among our team, vintage silk scarves are not only beautiful works of art, but very functional too. They can be styled into almost anything, from a classic tie around the neck, a hair accessory to a top! The ultimate classic accessory, silk scarves were worn by figures such as Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot and Grace Kelly, and always make a basic outfit look luxurious and complete.

Neck Warmers

Neck warmers are like scarves, but far more practical. There’s no messing around with tucking away ends and they look just as good when they’ve been made from second hand cashmere. These are best for dog walks, running errands in winter and maybe even a little après ski if you’re lucky…

Wraps

One of our most versatile accessories throughout the seasons… a cashmere wrap. Perfect to throw over your shoulders on a summers’ evening as the temperature cools (which happens quite a lot here in the UK!) or as an addition to your wedding outfit to keep the chill away. A lot of our wraps can also be worn as big scarves, making them wearable throughout the year, no matter the weather.

Bed Socks

Bed socks are a complete luxury… especially when they’re made from cashmere. A pair of socks specifically for when you’re having some down time. However, if your lifestyle is more like mine then bed socks are worn more often than your day-to-day socks!

Sometimes called wrist-warmers, our handmade fingerless gloves come in lots of bold and neutral colours and add a bit of fun to a basic outfit, whilst still allowing you to use your fingers! They are great subtle accessories, we’re imagining a pop of colour peeping out of the sleeve of an oversized neutral coat. Great for styling up, or for more practical things like gardening or a frosty morning walk, these fingerless gloves are a popular choice for those looking for a little luxurious gift.

Pet Blankets

We all love our pets, right? If you follow us on Instagram you may be aware of the queen that is Bramble, and her side kick Coco. Somehow… neither of them has got hold of a cashmere pet blanket. Criminal, I know. Don’t be a fool and fail to spoil your pets. If they’re not allowed on the sofa, then provide them with their own slice of luxury elsewhere.
