THE BEST FABRIC SHAVERS FOR YOUR CASHMERE

Bobbles can be a real pain when it comes to cashmere and it can ruin the luxury feel of your items. I'm here to point you towards what we believe to be the best fabric shavers based on our own experiences here at Nearly New Cashmere Co. I won't tell you which you should buy, you should decide based off of which one fits your needs the best.

Best Value

Crazyanna Portable Lint Remover (£5) Buy Here

This is the cheapest option of our fabric shavers and probably the most cashmere friendly. All you have to do is pull the shaver over the cashmere and the bobbles will come off with it. Easy to use, doesn't need batteries and takes up hardly any space making it perfect for on the go. It's worth noting that this option isn't as efficient as electric options. This shaver is perfect for people who don't mind doing it by hand and don't have much cashmere to shave.

Middle of the park

Philips GC026/00 Fabric Shaver (£16) Buy Here

This shaver is electric and is old favourite here at Nearly New Cashmere Co. It's perfect for short bursts of debobbling as it's much faster than the Crazyanna shaver meaning we can get through lots of cashmere fast. The cashmere all gathers up inside it too so it's easy to empty. The downsides of course are it's quite bulky and that it also requires batteries making it a less sustainable option. When using fabric shavers like this it is VERY important you don't press down too hard as you can risk damaging the cashmere.

Best Performer

Pudding Fabric Shaver Fuzz Remover (£29) Buy Here

This is our personal favourite! This is the more expensive of the three options but it shows in its performance. A much more ergonomic shape that is also rechargeable, along with a light that will help you spot those hidden bobbles. If you're happy spending the extra few pounds then this is the one for you as you'll find it takes up much less space than the Phillips option and does't need battery replacements making it far better for the environment!
